1/64 Volvo FH16-700 Stock Truck & 5-Axle Trailer "Transport Services Ltd". Made by Kiwi Replicas as No. 2 in their "Stock Trucks of New Zealand" series. Features right-hand drive, steerable front trailer bogie, very nice detail. Only 504 have been made of this TSL set. This stock truck & trailer is 355mm long, 50mm wide & 65mm high.

Transport Services Ltd (TSL) is a rural transport company based in the Western Southland township of Nightcaps and operate a fleet of 35 trucks. The company provides its community with fertiliser and bulk cartage, ground spreading and livestock cartage. It also provides telehandlers and loaders for hire and offers hay, baleage and straw placements. A daily freight service between Invercargill and Ohai complements the farm-based side of the business.

TSL was formed in 1989 when 9 working shareholders and 5 clients brought the assets of Transpac Holdings who had gone into receivership. Nightcaps was the last branch to be sold. This Shareholding remained until the end of 1996 when many of the older working shareholders decided they wanted to sell. In 1997 Bill Richardson brought out all the shareholders which isn’t what he wanted at the time. Bill wanted to keep anyone of the original shareholders on board but this wasn’t to be, in Sept 1999 Bill offered a 50/50 partnership to Dean Carleton and Wayne Williams who still together operate TSL today.
